Mostafa Aboulfaraj held various posts in R&D, sales and operations within the company that became Pechiney Alcan between 1994 and 2003. He then joined the company Capital Safety Group as Operations Manager France and Global Vice President of Purchasing from 2004 to 2007. Since 2008, he has served as Vice President of Process and Resources Group Sales at Outokumpu.

Mostafa Aboulfaraj is a polymers engineer (Ecole d'Application des Hauts Polymères Strasbourg). He earned a Ph.D. in composite materials at University Louis Pasteur in Strasbourg. He was Senior lecturer at the Ecole des Mines de Nancy for 4 years, where he taught the mechanics of materials and mechanical behavior of polymers.
